In accordance with the Lubavitcher Rebbe's instructions during times of conflict, the writing of a new Torah scroll has begun!  Each of its 304,805 letters are being dedicated to a soldier in the IDF.

One's individual letter in the Torah scroll is a kind of spiritual 'talisman' and contributes to the protection and defense of the soldiers.
